More about Diwali dresses for kids
Looking for something specific? Most families pick a lehenga or lehenga choli for Diwali night (girls lehengas), a sharara or palazzo set for easy movement while lighting diyas and bursting crackers (sharara and palazzo sets), or a silk gown or anarkali for family visits (silk gowns). For South Indian Deepavali mornings, a pattu pavadai is the classic choice.
For boys, a kurta set works for the whole day (boys kurta sets), a dhoti set or vesti suits the pooja, and a sherwani is the pick for Diwali parties. Dressing brothers and sisters to match? See sibling sets. Shopping for the youngest? Browse baby clothes, newborn to 3 years.

Diwali Dress FAQs
When should I order a Diwali dress so it arrives in time?
Every Nesavu outfit is ready stock. Orders usually leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days, and delivery within India takes 2–5 working days after that. Ordering a week or more before the festival gives you room for a size exchange if you need one.
What do kids usually wear for Diwali?
Girls often wear a lehenga, sharara or palazzo set, silk gown or pattu pavadai. Boys usually wear a kurta set, dhoti or vesti set, or a sherwani for parties. Bright colours such as red, maroon, mustard, green and pink, with zari or embroidery, are the festive favourites.
Which fabrics are comfortable for a long Diwali day?
Lighter fabrics such as georgette, viscose silk and cotton blends are comfortable for a full day of visiting and playing. Silk and tissue look grand for the pooja and evening photos. Each product page lists the fabric.
Can I buy matching Diwali outfits for siblings?
Yes. Because the designs are ready stock across sizes, you can usually pick the same design in two or more sizes, or choose from our sibling sets.
What if the size doesn't fit?
You can request a free one-time size exchange within 7 days of delivery. Check the Nesavu size chart before ordering; if your child is between two sizes, pick the bigger one.
Is shipping free?
Shipping within India is free on orders above ₹10,000. Below that, a small fee based on weight is shown at checkout. See our shipping policy.
